Mountain Biking
In the early days of mountain biking
did some pioneering stuff. Our chief instructor was taking to the high fells, Helveylln, the Coniston fells and many more in the late 1980's on a "Muddy Fox Courier" state of the art back then. Involvement in some of the first mountain bike leaders courses in the uk and Manchester Commonwealth games mountain bike course setting put us at the forefront of mountain biking. Mountain biking has grown massively to the levels we see today. Most households have one or two mountain bikes and it still continues to grow in popularity. Its more accessible and there is less need for guided mountain biking and bike courses.
All that said it is still a big part of us here at
for group bookings we can still organise guided events using only the best hire bikes and top instructors.
If its just advice you need
are more than happy to send you in the right direction to find suppliers of bike equipment or the best routes to ride. Just give us a call.
Reviews for Mountain Biking
Mountain biking / Gorge scrambling / Canyoning - Stag do
We had a whole day out, mountain biking in the morning and gorge scrambling/canyoning in the afternoon, with our instructor George for a stag do. It was really very good fun, George was a great laugh and a really good instructor. The mountain biking trail was just right for our group, not too intense for those who hadn't done it before, but entertaining enough for the ones who had a bit of experience. Gorge scrambling was everything I hoped it to be, cold wet and exhilarating, I especially liked climbing up one of the large waterfalls. Canyoning was also incredibly fun, it's a real adrenaline rush jumping down a high narrow gorge into the plunge pool. Would definitely recommend Adventure21, Kety was also super helpful in organising everything.
Excellent from start to finish
Just finished a three day stint with Dave and the boys from Adventure21 and it was brilliant. What a great bunch of lads. Everything was organised and catered for and all we had to do was turn up. The walking, mountain biking and kayaking were great and the gorge walking that finished the trip was outstanding. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for some outdoor fun. These guys are friendly, accommodating and safe. Thanks for a great few days lads.
