The Wilson Arms is a family owned Country Inn set in the heart of the Lake District. Situated in the small village of Torver nestled in the shadow of The Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crags. Explore the extensive fells and climb the magnificent mountains or walk to the shores of Coniston Lake through beautiful woodland.

The Bar

The Wilson Arms boasts natural wooden beams, an open log fire, real local ales and home cooked food.
Relax in our sunlit beer garden with a glass of a locally brewed ale.

Dining

After your adventures of the day are over dine in comfort in the secluded dining room and treat yourself to some local produce from the varied menu all freshly prepared and cooked when ordered then indulge with a little something from the extensive sweet menu, before relaxing for the evening in the bar.

Bed and breakfast

Relax in one of our 7 warmly decorated en suite bedrooms. Start your day in our dining room with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast or choose a lighter option from the menu. Also available is the Mews, our self-catering accommodation which hosts a double bedroom, a bunk bedroom (ideal for children), a bathroom, a lounge and a kitchen. The Mews can also be booked as bed and breakfast.
