White Water Safety and Rescue training course
The team recently completed a white water safety and rescue course.
The course was both fun and informative and was specifically aimed at the techniques required to run gorge scrambling, cliff jumping and Canyoning sessions and was run by Ash from Outdoor Recourses.
As there is no NGB qualification for Gorge Scrambling or canyoning in Great Britain, Adventure 21 require a minimum of SPA training and a white water qualification for instructors to be able to run Gorge and canyoning sessions.
As a professional organization we wanted to up the level that our staff work at and asked Ash to provide training above the level of that which our customers would experience. This ensures our staff are totally aware of everyday environmental changes.
The feed back from staff was so good that we are going to run further courses in the future.
