SHE magazine article September 2006
On the 8th of June 2006, Caroline Brannigan from SHE magazine joined us with two friends to complete an abseil at Hodge Close, in the Lake District, Cumbria.
Abseiling is descending a rock face using ropes, harnesses and helmets. (to read more about abseiling see our abseil page, under activities.)
Caroline was in the process of gathering information on activities available to women who want that little bit more excitement or would like to regain their independence and gain more confidence.
The article itself in SHE magazine is a great read and Caroline expresses her feelings and anxieties.
