Outdoor cooking and adventure activity day
Set in either the heart of the English lake District or on the outskirts of the Lancashire Moors near Rivington, this adventure day offers a morning of open fire cooking along with the choice of two of the following outdoor pursuits activities, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Team challenge Games, or Navigation.
How your activity day will run!
We will either give you a list of the food you need to bring or we can do the food shopping for you.
The group has full involvement in all aspects of the day, first the shallow pits have to be cut in the ground to set the fires in. Once complete the group help collect and prepare the wood before setting the fire for the cooking.
Once the fire is alight the group will prepare the ingredients they have brought with them whilst also feeding the fire. Finally the food packets are put over the fires embers to cook.
After lunch the group will take part in their chosen activities.
This activity day is well suited to both corporate team building days and youth and school groups, especially Connexions and PAYP holiday activity sessions. This day can also be used as an alternative adult or junior birthday party.
The cost of the multi adventure activity day excluding food for a group of 10 and over is £47.00 per person for junior groups and £67.00 for adults. Prices including vat and all specialist equipment including waterproof clothing.
