We're half a mile from Coniston village, on the shores of Coniston Water, the lake that inspired "Swallows and Amazons". There is a pay and display car park, or arrive by ferry.
Boat Hire
Let our electric motor boats take the strain or row, row, row your boat in our traditional wooden rowing boats. If you can sail why not hire one of our dinghies? Or you can always paddle your own canoe.

Sailing courses and lessons
Want to learn to sail or brush up your skills? We are a Royal Yachting Association Training Centre and offer a range of courses to qualify for internationally recognised RYA certificates.
Sailing courses
Courses include:
Dinghy sailing RYA Level 1 Start Sailing: £180
Dinghy sailing RYA Level 2 Basic Skills : £180
Each course is two days long, perfect for a weekend. Depending on the weather, a combination of Level 1 and 2 takes 5 days and costs £360
Sailing lessons
We also offer individual sailing lessons from novice level to more advanced, in one of our boats or your own if it’s suitable for instruction.
Sailing lessons are available from £80 for two hours up to three people or £110 for three hours up to three people.
Power boat courses
We also offer RYA Powerboat courses for £95 per day.
